A considered point of view

Every detail
earns its place.

AVEN reconsiders familiar objects through useful technology, thoughtful materials and a distinct point of view.

Function, material and expression belong in the same conversation.

The first object

A passport wallet,
reconsidered.

An exploration of considered carry, useful technology and personal character.

A closed Indian passport falls. AVEN catches and encloses it, descends, then lands open with the passport in the right compartment. Scroll down to advance, stop to hold, and scroll up to reverse.

Product concept · Not a functional prototype

Room for what matters.

We are exploring an interior that keeps the journey’s essentials together, with less visual clutter.

An opening.
A reason.

A familiar gesture, examined more closely. Everything settles into place.

A detail worth
noticing.

The transition between surface and edge is part of the object’s character. Final materials and construction are still being explored.

Considered.
Inside and out.

Nothing here is a finished promise. The next step is to turn the concept into something we can test.

Development direction. Testing still to come.Visual credits

The meeting
of two surfaces.

Black, grey and silver.
A constant across every world.

Imagined rose sandstone planes in directional light

Rose & Earth

Form, in its element.

Stone planes. Long shadows. A study of proportion and the reasons behind a detail.

Jaipur’s architectural pink and Petra’s sandstone are distinct references for colour and mass.

Imagined environment study. Cultural references, not a depicted location.

In development.

Questions, choices and the work still ahead.

01What we noticed

Useful objects can still feel anonymous. We began by asking what a passport wallet could offer beyond simply holding a passport.

The question behind AVEN’s first exploration.
02What we are exploring

A quieter silhouette, a considered closure and technology that earns its place. Tracking and splash resistance remain development targets, subject to testing.

Concept direction. Specifications are not final.
03Why it matters

We want practical improvement and expressive design to belong together. The decisions will be judged in use, through prototypes and testing.

Testing still to come.

Five perspectives.
A shared intention.

Our team brings Indian and British-Bangladeshi perspectives to a shared interest in design and technology. AVEN is where we explore what familiar objects could become when every choice has a reason.
